Radiopaque markers are small metal components that appear on medical imaging, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs. These markers help healthcare professionals pinpoint the location and movement of medical devices or implants, such as stents, catheters, and pacemakers, within the body. They also assist in monitoring organs and tissues during procedures like radiation therapy or endoscopy. Made from materials with high atomic numbers, such as platinum, gold, tantalum, niobium, iridium, or platinum-iridium alloys (PtIr), these markers effectively absorb radiation, ensuring clear visibility on imaging tests.

Our radiopaque markers, are manufactured in platinum iridium alloy (Pt90/Ir10), gold, and pure tantalum. They are cut into lengths, down to 0.25mm according to clients’ demands. Different technologies are engaged during processing (drawing, cutting, surface treatment) to guarantee high precision and a burr-free finish. Common applications for marker bands include radiopaque marking, ring electrodes, cardiac rhythm management devices, stents, and angioplasty.

We also have been committed to providing high-precision metal capillary and their derivatives, with an accuracy of “micron”. We specialize in rare metals, special materials, ultra-thin capillary, ultra-thin wall capillary, ultra-high precision capillary, and other fields. The materials of capillary we supply include platinum-iridium (Pt90/Ir10), titanium, tantalum, niobium, niobium zirconium alloy, stainless steel, nickel-base superalloy, etc. Our metal capillaries are used in medical equipment, aerospace, automotive, communication equipment, precision instruments, etc. Representative products are marker bands, puncture needle, heat exchange titanium capillary, oxygen sensor heat pipe, oxygen sensing heat-resistant pipe, fiber optic casing, anti-corrosion tantalum tube, etc.
